Mobile Hibachi Catering Cost: What Changes Your Quote?
Your guest count is the starting point for an at-home hibachi party. Standard adult meals start at $50 per person, and children’s meals start at $30 per person for ages 13 and under. Each standard meal includes fried rice, vegetables, salad and two protein selections. Premium proteins and optional sides may change the food total.
Our food minimum is $500 before travel, applicable tax and gratuity. For example, 10 adults at $50 each reach the $500 food minimum; 12 adults start at $600; and 12 adults plus two children start at $660. These are food-only examples, not final event quotes.
Travel is confirmed using the full event address, because distance, access, parking and the chef’s schedule vary by location. A private home, approved indoor space, garage or suitable outdoor area may have different setup requirements. Ask about venue restrictions before reserving a date.
For an accurate estimate, share the date, preferred start time, number of adults and children, event ZIP code, and any food allergies. We can then confirm chef availability and the appropriate travel charge. Final menu selections are requested at least five days before the event.

How Mobile Hibachi Catering Pricing Works
Start with the number of adults and children who will eat at your event. Standard adult meals start at $50 per person and children’s meals are $30 for ages 13 and under. The usual meal includes two proteins, fried rice, vegetables and salad. Guests may request premium proteins or additional sides when the final menu is prepared.
Understanding the $500 Food Minimum
For a smaller party, the starting food minimum is $500. For example, eight adult meals at the standard rate total $400, so the food minimum applies. Twelve standard adult meals start at $600. A group of twelve adults and two children starts at $660 before any premium upgrades, add-ons, travel, applicable tax or gratuity. Your final quote depends on your actual guest selections.
Travel and Optional Menu Upgrades
Travel is calculated based on the full event address, not only the city or ZIP code. Filet mignon and scallops are typically $5 upgrades, while lobster is a $10 upgrade per selected meal. Ask for a detailed quote if guests want a third protein, noodles or other party extras.
Booking and Payment
We confirm your date, venue access and chef availability before reserving the party. A reservation deposit may be collected by Zelle or Venmo; the remaining event balance is cash only. Please ask about accessibility, weather backup plans and any allergies before the event.
